Meet the founder of the holy shiftChristine Crawford
Soul-Tender.
Dignity-Defender.
Guide for the Curious.
Hi, friend. I’m Christine, and I’m thrilled you’re here.
As a paradox-embracing theopoetic and unabashed Bible geek, I love to explore the upside-down kingdom of God through art, story, and humor. Two passions drive my work: advocating for the vulnerable and welcoming everyone to encounter Jesus. These convictions have shaped my studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, where I hold a master’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies and am pursuing a master’s in Media Arts & Worship. I am also a Stephen Minister and trained in trauma-informed Mind-Body Medicine practices.
I have contributed to Bible studies on Nehemiah and Ephesians and developed curricula on Purpose & Identity, Drawing Near & Dwelling Well, The Theology of Suffering, The Ministry of Art, and The Chosen. My work has been featured in publications such as Fathom,Devotion Magazine, Rehumanize International, The Estuary, DTS Voice,The Coffee Cup Bible Study Series, and Texas Poetry Magazine and has earned awards from the Texas Poetry Society and the Evangelical Press Association.
You’ll find me on the porch of my creekside cabin with my two dogs (one sinner, one saint), savoring anything involving music, laughter, nature, or words.
Your questions and comments are welcome, and I would love to connect with you! Let me know how I can help you or your church/community make THE HOLY SHIFT.
